New Royals Owner

The Royals have a new Owner .

Kansas City businessman John Sherman has finalized an agreement with David Glass to purchase the Royals for $1 billion, which is expected to be officially approved in November at the Major League Baseball owners meetings.

Sherman, the Indians’ vice-chairman, will now have to relinquish his interest in the Indians’ franchise before the 2020 season.

What changes can be expected ?

I hope he's not a guy who's only interested in buying a team just to relocate.

If you look back at past Kansas City owners he can't be as bad as Arnold Johnson or Charlie Finley. Nobody can.

Finley was a complete assclown. TPTB got fed up with his antics but a new stadium was on the drawing board when Finley decided to abscond to Oakland where he couldn't draw flies despite having world championship teams.
