Crashing before playoffs

Trying to finish a custom season. The regular season has ended, award nominees announced, but when I try to advance to the playoffs the game crashes.

Doing the same thing to me. I don't see anything obvious wrong like a broken roster that could cause a crash, so we're going to have to investigate this a little further. My first guess, given the timing, would be some kind of issue with the playoff format, but I'm not getting a crash with the default playoff system if I set up a league with the same 12 teams/60 games format as yours. Do you recall how exactly you have the playoffs set up?

8 teams, 7 in each round. It asked me how many games to play in the round of 16. Could that be the issue?
Also, did some experimenting last night. When creating a 12 team league using the pre defined stuctures, no schedule would be created. When creating a 10 team predefined structure, playoffss worked fine, but when I tried progressing past June 30th, crash.
Is custom mode broken?

Plus: I uninstalled the game. Deleted the OOTP folder, and reinsatalled it. That fixed nothing.

The round of 16 setting will be ignored if you don't actually have a round of that size.

I tried a new league with the same size/length and your playoff setup added, no crash. There must be something in that specific save that's broken, but I'll need the guys to dig into the internals to find out exactly what it is.

I get the missing schedule on the 12/55 predefined as well - which is odd, because there's definitely a valid schedule file (G55_T12.xml in the schedules folder) for it. We'll have to check further on that, too - either there's a flaw in the file I'm not seeing, or something in that predetermined setup isn't loading it properly.

But I was getting the crash when I started up a new league. And, as i said, even after uninstalling/reinstalling.

Last night I tried making a league again, same as before, excpet this time I set round of 16 to be a best of 1. That worked.
