stuck on sept 7 1981

Not sure what my problem could be, I've had times where I couldn't sim forward a day cuz I didn't have enough goalies but this just simply closes the application so if anyone has any ideas please help me out.

There was a Canada Cup tournament scheduled around then, so maybe related to that?

If you can upload the save (see instructions here), I'll have a look and try to see what's going wrong there and if we can repair the save.

It was the Canada Cup, the tournament data seems to be badly broken and had the Czech team playing itself, which caused the crash. Not sure how that could have happened, but we were able to fix it (by disabling the tournament) - I shared the fixed file with you on dropbox, let me know if you don't get the email from them with the download link. Just copy those files over the original and you'll be able to continue normally.

Hi Jeff,

Same issue for me - Canada Cup corrupted schedule has stalled my historical game.

I uploaded to the ftp directory as "Ryan67."

Can you please disable the tournament for me so that I can proceed?
