No Movement Clause Issues

Picked up Bill Geurrin off waivers in my historical random debut game. Later on I went to trade him but couldn't because he had a no movement clause. I edited that out of the profile, but it still wouldn't let me trade him.
1) He shouldn't have been able to be put on waivers in teh first place.
2) Editing the clasue away doesn't stick.
(Yes, I did save the changes)

There's a special temporary no movement clause applied to players who are claimed on waivers, for the remainder of the season they're claimed in. It can't be edited away.

What's the plan in regards to this waiver rule for the next iteration of the game ?

Probably going to make it optional.

If disabling it, would it just make the player waived back to all teams (closest to reality)? Unable to code real life rule into FHM 9 ?

No, disabling it would probably just revert back to the way it used to work.

I thought the previous mechanic was that a player who was claimed could be put trough waivers again, only that he was available to all teams again. Wasn't it ?
