Big Walt won the MVP this time, too. His 12.5 WAR beat a Rookie Ichiro with 7.2 and a Mike Trout with 7.0 WAR as nearest batters.

My highlight was in game 7 against 131 win Fresno Team Loser. Was down 1 run in the top of the 9th against perfect Lee Smith, strung together 6 straight 2-out hits to score 4 runs. Newhouser then came in to nail it down in the bottom of the 9th.

Had my best ever season for PP generation on my Bronze team geared for PP generation. 31,030, and only 12,000 of those were from gold achievements. Seven silver sluggers too.
Offense focused team getting too good for Bronze though. Imagine I'll be promoted next year or the year after. Have to have something to look forward to when the team I spent money has been mired in Diamond for five seasons. |

Kids had a crazy game 6 with 20 innings which even pulled in the last remaining starter (with stamina) in for 5+ innings.
Somehow he managed to get lucky in game 7 and his pitcher went deep enough to secure a trophy.

That is incredible--you truly never know what's going to happen in the playoffs!

Got the idea from someone else on these boards. It's pretty normal, just worked out well last season. High offense team with pitchers who have high stuff. Maximizes the hitter achivements, bigger chance at the big ones for high scoring games, and lots of strikeout achievements. But that's at the expense of defense, and pitchers with high movement/control.
On season four of doing this and last season was the first time to make the playoffs. But at least my team is making PP instead of sitting in bronze, not doing well and still not making money. |

That's still an amazing amount of PP generation for one season. I've got two teams that are sort following that strategy but the most I've gotten in a season is just under 15k. Plus I got bored with staying so stagnant so I started upgrading my pitching. As a result, one of the teams ended up going 62-20 the second half of the season.
