balancing the business side of things

....trouble balancing all this out...

I'm having trouble dealing with the financial part of the game. Everyone wants 15 million each and I don't have the budget for that, I can afford one star player but how do you do good in this game with limited financials and paying everyone the salaries that they want? yea I can raise ticket prices but I don't want to raise it too high and loose my fan loyalty. so can you guys guys balance this out? How do you make a winning team when everyone wants millions each year? can you give me some guidance how how to balance the financial aspect of this game? how do you make these players happy?

Is that a Tampa Bay Devil Rays logo in your avatar?
Interesting

You do what you do with any limited resource.

You decide who gets it and who doesn't.

You can't pay everyone $15 million a year, you know that.

So, you have to decide who's worth $15 million a year, to you, and get rid of the others for cheaper players.

I figure I can't afford anyone who wants a salary that puts him in the league's top 25.

You don't "make these players happy". You find other players who will be happy for less. Or ones who aren't happy for less but don't have a choice (Min contract players, those in arb).
