Player Import Question

I have a fictional 26 team league where I import MLB and MiLB players into my draft pool every year based on their age, which started in 1995. Now I'm in 2015, and the players don't import well anymore, because, I assume, the players don't have any MLB stats. Victor Robles, Gleyber Torres, Nick Madrigal, etc etc (basically anyone you can think of who was 18 in 2015) are all scrubs, as is basically the whole pool.

Question 1: How can I import players that are current day prospects so they import with potential?

Question 2: If I get past question 1 - when I get to current day, how can I use the real draft pools in-game as if I was starting a MLB current day quickstart?

The historical minor league db is what I have been using. Players without MLB stats import as scrubs (my assumption it's the ML stats - what else could it be?).

Spritze used to have a HS DB. If he still has one then maybe thats your best bet.
