Contract Negotiations
It would be great if you could negotiate with a player and give them your best offer. The player would know that the offer was on the table but could shop around instead of rejecting it right off the bat. Would be fun to have a expiration date for the offer and see how the market plays out for the player you are interested in signing.

In one of the recent updates, a player does come back to see if a previous offer was still on the table.

Thanks for the reply. I have never had that happen, even when the message shows the player in question took less money from another team.

wait for demand to drop to a reasonable level that you can safely undercut without upsetting them and not missing the proverbial boat after they sign elsewhere.
you can guesstimate what you competition can afford in various ways. sounds like a reasonable submission early can help from what wiupike said. |
