Player want 1'017'500 as entry level contract

Hi,

I remember there was a post about an issue with entry level contract where the player ask more than the maximum. The player always want 1'017'500 but the maximum we may offer is 925'000$. I saw the situation often, but I have a case right here.

Adam Lexa, a 18 y/o RFA in my player depth chart seems to have the issue right now, right in the save about my KHL schedule issue

The game work that way? I mean, it's normal that the player want more than the entry level contract maximum? Since the entry level is 925k in NHL and 800k in KHL, that guy is not going to play at all. My best option should be to force the contract in commissionner mode.

This kind of players shouldn't be subject to KHL entry-level contracts.

Something's wrong there, might be some kind of issue with his data. I actually get a crash if I try to offer him a contract on July 1, and then the problem you're seeing if I continue the game, then make the offer. This looks a little different than the previous times we've seen this problem, which usually involved European players in their early 20's not understanding they were subject to ELC rules. This one's a fresh draftee, so that's not the case here. I'm wondering if his free agent status might be a part of the problem, but we'll have to do some further checking to see if that's it or something else.

The fun fact in it, each time I saw that happened with entry level contracts (in both FHM 4 and FHM 5), it's always the same amount (1'017'500$), which is exactly 110% of 925'000$.

That narrows it down a bit, if it was the player not recognizing he had ELC status, it'd move around more because of the variable effects his greed, loyalty, etc. ratings have on the requested amount. This sounds like it might be some external effect that's being applied after the player demand is determined, although I can't recall any offhand that are a flat 10% like that. Must be something, though.
