Waiver Wire in MLB game

I have loaded the 2017 rosters and started a couple season, but the waiver wire always seems to be empty (unless I place one of my players on it)...any ideas on how to make this more realistic?

Do you have the other teams set to AI control? I see plenty of players placed on waivers throughout the season and off season. Something is off in your settings.

thanks that is what I was thinking... so I need to set allow AI to control teams correct?

Yes, otherwise nothing will ever happen with those teams.
