This game got ugly.

In the 2nd the Superbas made three errors leading to seven unearned runs.
In the 7th, with the Phillies leading 11-0, Eddie Collins stole 2nd, angering the Brooklyn players. Jack Warhop plunked Red Murray, the next batter, who then charged the mound. Once the dust settled, Warhop and Murray were ejected.

In the end, Philadelphia won 18-2.

WP - Bill Grahame (2-1)
LP - Jack Warhop (1-2)

Record - 8-4

Jack Warhop has been suspended for five games.

After Boston chose to walk Donie Bush in order to face Cale Bernard with two out and a man on 3rd, Bernard made them pay with an 11th inning, walk-off RBI single! Brooklyn won 5-4.

Bill Bailey pitched well, but it was Three Finger Brown who picked up the win in relief.

The early exit by Bill Bailey turned this into a bit of a chaotic affair, but the Superbas were able to defeat the Phillies 8-6.

Bailey has strained his oblique and will miss the better part of the next two months.
