I'm having trouble dealing with the financial part of the game. Everyone wants 15 million each and I don't have the budget for that, I can afford one star player but how do you do good in this game with limited financials and paying everyone the salaries that they want? yea I can raise ticket prices but I don't want to raise it too high and loose my fan loyalty. so can you guys guys balance this out? How do you make a winning team when everyone wants millions each year? can you give me some guidance how how to balance the financial aspect of this game? how do you make these players happy?

If you've got a low budget.. You need a great farm system. It may mean you suck for a couple years and unfortunately you'll have to let players walk that you don't want to let go.

Or even better trade them before the big payday. I have played some average and below teams and this is hard to master. You want to trade them when they are still close to peak but before the payroll gets out of hand. I have traded guys before arbitration hearings because I couldn't get a deal with them that was in budget.

I almost always trade them for the next big prospect unless I have a hole and the budget for a veteran or a guy who is arbitration eligible. It was heartbreaking to trade my ace right after a world series win but I didn't have the 20+ million he was estimated to make in arbitration and I had an up and coming ace.

Like with TB, knowing when to move Snell and getting whatever you can for Kiermaier.
