More Trouble Importing OOTP 20

Thank you OOTP community, you have been very helpful to many.
Others have the same issue, Importing OOTP 20 on a Mac to OOTP 21. I am to be considered a novice only regarding the computer.
Following others advice and counsel, I FINALLY found the saved games file, got a message (finally) that it was successfully imported. Can't be found,
only a brand new game I began on OOTP 21 while spending a week trying to import. Worse, when I go back to my OOTP 20..."Continue Game"is grayed out, not available. "load a previously saved game" yields an error message stating "there are no league folders in your saved game folders".
So, I cannot locate 6 seasons (hundreds of hours) of work building my team!
(It used to be a breeze to import an older version, not so with OOTP 21.)

You will need to manually move the entire saved game folder from 20 to your ootp21 league folder. Using the in-game restore option never works for me. Thats why I never use the in-game back up utility, its worthless. BTW, I would recommend zipping up the entire saved game folder a couple times per season and saving it elsewhere. A big file but good insurance.

Sorry, you missed the point. My OOTP 20 game cannot be opened--"Continue Game" is GRAYED-OUT, not their anymore,
so how do I copy a folder that I can't access??? Hundreds of hours spent playing the game, building a franchise and being totally engrossed in the game. This was to be my sanctuary during these dark times and I seem to have lost that which I was so devoted to. I guess the internal workings of the game are too involved for this non-geek. Love the game but now depressed over losing my (6 seasons) team.
