The Snickers Hole isn't working (Part II)

Marijuana chocolate candy given as a raffle prize for a youth hockey team. The organizers of the event checked the rules and didn't see anything preventing cannabis from being a prize. Maybe because, IDK, they thought people might have common sense?

I looked it up: The federal Cannabis Act came into effect on 17 October 2018 and made Canada the second country in the world, after Uruguay, to formally legalize the cultivation, possession, acquisition and consumption of cannabis and its by-products.

But so is alcohol, presumably, and you would not have a bottle of Canadian rye as a prize at a function in which children are participating.

Another example of people not using their noodles. Is that safe to say? [Looks over his shoulder with apprehension. ]

I agree with you. I can't speak for Canada, but here in the US under age drinking is not as illegal as most people think. In most states it's only illegal under 21 years of age at places that sell alcohol. Perfectly legal at a private residence or facility that does not. With the owners permission of course. I think in 11 states you don't even need parental consent.
