Walkers news: Regular season awards

Co-Player of the Year: Bo Bichette -- The 27-year old second baseman missed a little less than a month with a groin injury but still managed to bat .257 with 21 homers and 56 RBIs in 129 games. He scored 70 runs and stole 10 bases. He boasted an on-base percentage of .343 and a slugging percentage of .465.
Co-Player of the Year: Carlos Vidal -- Acquired just before Opening Day in a trade with Evansville, Vidal was expected to be a platoon player in right field but by the All-Star break was playing every day. In 142 games, he batted .265 with 26 homers and 66 RBIs. He scored 77 runs while stealing 12 bases. He got on base at a .356 clip and slugged .475. He led all of baseball with 21 sacrifice bunts. Most of his bunts were with Bichette on first base, as he batted almost exclusively from the No. 2 hole.

Starting Pitcher of the Year: Alex Faedo -- The 29-year-old right-hander adeptly slipped into the role of River Walkers' ace following the departure of Aaron Nola, going 15-5 with a 2.88 ERA in 33 games (31 starts). He worked 200 innings, posting a 1.03 WHIP while striking out 215.
Relief Pitcher of the Year: Jake Brentz -- Voted the National League top reliever in 2024, Brentz could win it again after his 2025 season. The 31-year-old got into 56 games and went 9-3 with 18 saves and 12 holds. He worked a total of 58.2 innings, during which he had a 1.07 ERA. His WHIP was 0.89 and he struck out 76.

Walkers news: Notes from Ownership

We won the championship but he continues to whine.
To his negative comments -- not enough stolen bases, not re-signing Aaron Nola and lack of attendance -- my responses are.
Stolen bases -- We won the championship.
Aaron Nola -- We won the championship.
Lack of attendance -- We won the championship and led the league in all the attendance parameters. 52,000, which is what he wants, is almost capacity does he want to sell every single ticket?
As for demands moving forward, he wants an upgrade in center field and Andrew Benintendi signed to an extension.
Larry Ernesto who took over in center field around the All-Star break was one of our best players from that point on.
Andrew Benintendi is still a very good player, but not a top five player in the league like when he was given his huge extension before the 2021 season.
We'll pick up his option, see how he does and go from there.
Just stay in your office and leave me alone.
We just won the CHAMPIONSHIP.
