I'd take SE Ozzie over hof Jeter at the highest level. His defense is weak and all the best SP are righties. The only times I've seen that Jeter are as a 2B platoon or utility IF.

The game engine loves a hitter with ozzies high contact low power. Watch him slash 300/380/420 every season

Taking on Bailey's Hamtramck Tigers in the P436 League Championship Series. Both of us are coming off 5-game Division Series' wins.

It took 7 games, the last 4 all decided by 1 run, but the 'Glou have defeated the Hamtramck Tigers to progress to the World Series!

The Chicago Whales (who aren't quite the whales the name would imply but are a good team nonetheless) await. Whoever wins will be taking home their first Perfect Level Championship.

Lost in 6, the superior defense of the Chicago Whales carrying them to victory. Congrats, Chicago!

The 'Glou are now 0-3 in the World Series
Well, there's always next week!

The multiple choice was a little avant garde.

Robin Yount was good.

The 'Glou are in their second straight World Series, taking on 5-time PL champs the Portland Kooks, who went 124-38 this season and eased their way to the Series with a 3-1 Division Series win and a 4-1 League Championship win.

We went 103-59, which was only good enough for third in our division. Beat division rivals Maple Grove Maples 7-2 in the wildcard game, Peak Pedro fanning 10 in 7 innings. Then beat the 122-40 Cleburne Railroaders 3-1 in the Division Series, crueling the Railroaders hopes for a 7th PL ring. They play in a leftie ballpark with a completely lefthanded lineup, versus left- or right-handed pitching. That I run 2 lefties in my rotation perhaps gave me an advantage.

We then took on the New Amsterdam Metrokees, who won our division with a 107-55 record. They have been at perfect level since 2039 and have only missed the playoffs 7 times. Even so, they are yet to win a ring.

After jumping out to a 3-0 lead we dropped the next 3 to set up a tense Game 7, Ben Sheets taking on Red Ruffing. A 6th-inning Austin Meadows 2-run homer put us up 4-1. The Metrokees clawed 1 back with a solo Posada dinger in the 7th. We added an insurance run in the 9th, Meadows again coming up big with an RBI-single, and held on to win 5-2.

Portland have a far superior roster to us but their lineup is a little bit weaker against LHP, so hopefully Eppa Rixey and Jon Matlack can come up big for me again.

And down in 6 for the second straight season

Congrats to the Portland Kooks who came back from 7-4 down to walk off 8-7 in the bottom of the 9th for the series win.

Latest Distinction

Dazzling consitency.
After the 2086 New York Flyers Mets tribute won 58 games, we won 124 in diamond, 97 back relaxed in perfect & then 6 straight seasons of 44-45 losses...118 wins is the most I've had in the regular season at the Perfect Level. I won them slightly different ways but I added Schilling and went to a 4-man rotation for anybody who cares. For anyone who doesn't kindly ignore this.
Last season was my sixth in a row with 117 or 118 wins.

My Clippers have made the Perfect playoffs 21 seasons in a row. They have won the division 13 times. Made 6 World Series. Averaged 102 wins a year.

Zero championships.

going to cry soon

After thousands upon thousands upon thousands of packs I finally opened my first TOTD. Of course it was the worst one Cano but I'm going to play him for a season even though 99 Collins is almost certainly better at 2B.

Saw a TOTD Trout on the AH, I guess a tournament gave someone their second copy. 1.25 million PP was shockingly low to me. He will give you 10-12 WAR each year easy.

Law of averages says you'll probably win multiple titles in a row soon

We will see. 113 wins this season. 3rd in league, so I don't have home field after 113 wins.

103-59 this season, 2nd seed in the league.

...eta...I was mistaken, I was the 3rd seed. They had 10 more wins, but we had the same run differential.

I swept the 1st round and am on to the league championship.

Went up against a 129-33 team in the LCS and took them out in 5, I went 1-6 against them during the season. On to the World Series.
