Pitcher Stamina in Tournaments
Hi all,
First post so my apologies if this is the wrong thread or format, but here we go...
Do tournaments, specifically the Bronze tourneys, take pitcher stamina into account any differently than a regular game?
I ask because I've noticed a majority of successful teams in these tournaments have similar rotations. Players like Satchel Paige, Don Gross, and Bill Bonham are omnipresent, and despite having stamina ratings of 29, 30, and 29 respectively, they pitch into the 7th and regularly throw 80-100 pitches.
After seeing SPs with stamina in the 80-100 range get outlasted by guys in the 20s, I'm curious if stamina is something a manager can overlook when setting up a tournament roster.
Thanks I'll hang up and listen
