2 quick question on viewing WAR and strategy

ok #1 I can see war rating for the players on my team but is there way to compare his WAR rating to say one of your minor league players? I cant see to figure out how to display a minor league players WAR...

Now on to injuries. What do you guys do when you have a player who has an injury and is day to day or even say a 5-6 day injury. I click on let bench coach set up all lineups and depth chart but the injured player is left in. So what do you do as GM/Manager? Do you manually take home out and replace him till he is feeling better?

I have nothing helpful on the first.

I don't use the AI lineup tool, but it really depends on the player and the injury (especially duration). 10%? I'll let that go awhile. To avoid having problems the real-life Mets have all the time, if a guy will be 40% compromised for a week I usually throw him on the DL.

For the injuries, if it is day-to-day, you can bench them under player strategy. On the right side there is an option for "bench player for x number of days." It will still put them in the lineup and depth chart if you ask the AI to set it up, but when the game starts, it will put them on the bench and not use them as a pinch hitter/reliever/etc.

If I have a player injured for five days and don't want to play them or put them on the DL, I'll just bench them for five days and the AI will play the backup on the depth chart for those five days.

war is only comparable within 1 league. it's based on a replacement player relative to that league.

you could do it with effort, i guess.
