Does anyone know if it's possible to create a quick start of this years playoffs without having to sim through the 2016 season fifty times to get the desired result?

1. Upload this quickstart http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...available.html
2. You can go to play - Simulation Mode and simulate the series.
3. You can delete the other 20 teams and create a short game schedule then playoffs. (this requires more manual changes). Note:Save as Quickstart before simming.
4. Play exhibition games with the above quickstart.

Rather than start a new thread, this question is pretty related. Is it possible to get accurate stats/standings for the 2016 season and get to the playoffs instantly? I basically want to start in the 2016 off-season. Would I have to sim the season and then manually edited stats/records somehow?

As far as I know, there is no way to edit the stats in the game. But my experience has been that the MLB quickstart has been pretty accurate as far as the final standings are concerned. I have played through 4 different 2016 seasons and the World Series matchups have been Indians vs Nationals, Indians vs Dodgers, Rangers vs Cubs and Red Sox vs Giants.

I am in the process of playing through this season where I control all the teams and I simmed each day and did all the transactions/injuries that happened in real life. I am in September now and to my surprise all 6 AL teams that made the playoffs in real life are in and 5 of the 6 teams in the NL are correct...just need the Giants to get their act together the last 3 weeks of the season and get that wildcard spot from Arizona.
