Never I assume. What you have set stays is my thought.

This is true. I just opened my team after about 4 months of inactivity and everything is still there. It was all run just as though I was still around.

It's interesting to look at the history. I was in gold, became inactive, my team got promoted with no-one at the wheel and spent the next few years winning 95 games in diamond, then gradually sank down to being a .500 team at the diamond level as everyone else caught up with me. I've been in diamond forever.

I doubt I'll ever get back into PT again. 19 is about dead, and I've missed the starting point of OOTP 20 which is crucial if you want to work the AH. But I suppose I should do something with this 143,812 pp that I've got in my account.

I don't think PT19 is "dead". In fact I still prefer playing it to 20. My teams are plain more fun than the entry teams, and I don't have any "feel" for 20 yet. I have three teams going (packs only) and nothing about it is making me think I need to give up PT19 to focus on the new one more.

The auction house has become a challenge in some ways for sure. But enjoying the game for me isn't "dead" and I think there are still a lot of people around and active on it.

PS I can help you with that 143,812PP !!!

i still log on to see what my team is doing but there is no one available to buy so what can you really do? buy packs to see my 25K points turn into 15K and still not have any better players?

Yeah, 25k ain’t going to get it. There are to many good teams in the perfect league and if your team is not solid then you won’t win up there. You might as well go to 20 where the teams are not as strong yet.

I'm not putting any more money into 19 - so a few minutes ago bought 37 packs with my PP. I guess there will be an influx of cards into the AH shortly.

You never made it to perfect? I'm really surprised by that. My team was close enough at its peak that I'm pretty sure I'd have made it there if I'd stuck with it. I assumed you'd be a regular in the perfect league by now. What prevented it?

Zorro wins perfect every other year - sometimes every year.

Just not lucky I guess.

Believe me I have no desire to get promoted to perfect in either version. I don't plan on ever moving beyond gold. I can't even change up my team though since there aren't any available players between like 10K and 20K except awful live ones and ones listed for twice what they should be

I consider my PT1.0 team to be AAAA material. Always there or thereabouts in Diamond but not quite strong enough yet to be competitive in Perfect.

I still browse the AH a few times a week, and there are still deals to be had, imo, but far, far less, of course, and most of the upgrades I need are inflated-cost players. This means I've tweaked my strategy. Rather than waiting several weeks to accumulate PP to buy a card that will be selling for way more than it used to be worth, at the end of each week I spend my PP on packs, and sell whatever I don't want (which has been essentially everything so far) at decent (for the buyer) prices. Last week I opened 8 packs, pulled 2 live diamonds, sold them both at BIN, and bought 13 more packs. While I didn't hit any jackpots it was still fun, and I'm happy for my team to trundle on as it is until I pull something fantastic

Well, my 37k pack buy probably netted me about 13k.

I disagree about having to be around at the starting point to work the AH. For 19, I came into the game late and still was able to use the AH to build up my team.

Maybe I should take your guys' lead and make all my 19 teams packs only. Then, I could convert my 20 team away from packs only. Packs only I've found is pretty boring, but in 19 it makes sense because there is nothing to be had on the AH.
