Overview
The Whalehead League, established in 1990, is transitioning to OOTP from Dynasty League Baseball. The highly competitive longtime league has a stable ownership group and aspires to ultimate realism.

The league uses real players and runs concurrent with the MLB timeline.

The league uses the Development engine during the season but remains tethered to real MLB player development from year-to-year. (Player ratings are updated each year when OOTP updates in March.)

A stocked free agent class is available this off-season, including Mike Trout, Chris Sale, Clayton Kershaw, Freddie Freeman, Manny Machado, Stephen Strasburg, Max Scherzer, Jose Altuve and many, many others.

A robust minor league player pool is also available. (Our minor league systems were much, much smaller using the old sim.)

Six minor league levels (AAA, AA, A+, A, A-, R) with a total of 155 minor leaguers.
