In-game events
When a game is being played out with at least one team controlled by the AI, does the AI ever exercise the option of changing goalies when the starter has done poorly (i.e., let in a lot of goals)? This seems not to be the case, as I had a game recently in which the starter let in 7 goals and was left in for the whole game.
Also, when a player is injured during a game is that event listed in the play-by-play and is the player taken out of the game (as in OOTP Baseball), or is the injury implemented only after the game is over? |

fist one ive seen it as well and the second one is supposed to be immediate and not after the game (when you find out how bad he is hurt)

Yeah, there's a set of criteria for the AI to change goalies if the starter's getting killed. Injuries remove the player from the game immediately.
