Server crash on 6/27

Hey guys,

as you have probably realised, we had an extended server outage over the weekend, ranging into Tuesday. This was due to a hard drive crash, which also killed the raid-1 system of our server which usually is intended to prevent data loss. Luckily, we had a backup which was just a couple of hours old. However, the support of our server provider turned out to be really bad (we pay lots of $$ for 24/7 support, but it took them over a day to respond to our ticket, and another day to find out what the problem was), so everything took much longer than expected.

Becuase of this, we have now switched to a new server provider. It's more expensive, but it allows us to mirror the site and all the data, which will prevent something like this from happening again.

So, we apologize for the inconvenience!

Since the crash, the online manual accessible from the main page of iOOTP is not found.

The iOOTP manual can still be found here:

Out of the Park Baseball Manual

Admittedly, it's from the 2011 version and we need to update it for the most recent one. And, yes, we need to make extensive updates to the other manuals too.

Unfortunately, no. The OOTP and FHM manuals are higher priority right now.
