So I get it as all 1 game series or do you mean games? I'll assume games here to make the schedule easier.
All divisional series and 1 non-divisional series per opponent can be 4 games. (16 total series) Meanwhile, 2 non-divisional series per opponent and all interleague series can be 2 games. (24 total series) 112 games/6 games per week (the usual for 4-man rotations) does not divide evenly, so the first 4 games should be on the first week of the season in 2-game series, then a layout like this: 2gm 4gm 2gm 4gm 2gm 4gm 2gm 4gm 2gm 2gm 2gm 2gm 4gm and so on. "2gm" means 2-game series, and "4gm" means 4-game series. There should be 3 weeks of 2-game series in there. (This schedule can be easily adjusted to begin any day of the week due to the opening week being only 2-game series. Sat, Sun, and Mon starts are a bit tougher though due to the schedule being built for 4-man rotations. Even someone like me can figure this one out easily.) EDIT: If offdays are staggered, 9 of the 16 interleague series can be put on the weeks of three 2-game series. EDIT #2: I can easily work this into a schedule file by the end of the week. Yeah Burke that would be sweet. I meant by series, thats a set of 4 games.
there will be 28 sets of 4 games 28 times 4 is 112 If you can work something like that out it would be sweet. |

When do you want your schedule to end? Also, what day of the week would make for the best start?
EDIT: All 4-game series would be a big problem for me, since I always try to avoid offdays on weekends... A PCL schedule can easily be modified to fit this formula. Last edited by bwburke94; 01-07-2010 at 02:55 PM. |

Any day at the beginning of March, whatever seems most right, to start the season.
I just want to expand the season over 6 months so mid-late August to end the season. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ule-twist.html You see this one, all 4 game series |
