Association Playoffs Crash

I keep having a crash -- two times in a row right at when the association playoffs should begin. And then when I reload and try to turn off association playoffs, it crashes.

What gives?

This isn't a complex world -- 3 leagues of 16 teams each, plus minors.

Thanks. I will try and do this tonight. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and am no longer getting the crash upon loading of the game, and have been able to play with another world. I haven't retried the "crashing world" yet.
