SPHL | 3, 3.5 and 4 Stars Players for $5000 Year?
Hello there, I hope everyone is doing fine.
I'm now playing in the SPHL and I got surprised, big surprise. Considering is a minor league when I got the new job checked players' status and noticed that most of them are 0.5, 1 and up to 2 stars players. I got excited to play in a minor league with players with less abilities. But everything changed when Regular Season was about to start. All teams started to get 2.5 and up to 4 stars players which made me buyout most of my squad and get what was in store in FA to make a decent team. Now my question is, this is normal? Even in real life SPHL or ECHL have so great players to be considered 3 stars or higher? It seems a little weird to me that a 4 stars player gets $5.000 per year based that in other leagues a player like that gets at least $250.000 or more. I hope someone can clarify this for me. Greetings! |

Short Answer: The ratings are based by what league you're in. A 4 star player in the SPHL does not make an NHL Superstar.

Probably less than that, but yeah, that's the general idea.

Yeah, if you're still confused, check the player's profile. The consensus rating is normally how good they actually are, while the scout's rating is how good they are in your league. The general ratings on other screens are compared to your own league, too. So if a guy is a 4-star player while you're in the SPHL, it means he's great for playing there, but won't likely fit well on higher levels. Probably at best could be on an AHL roster.

Thankfully I got nice FA players and built a nice team to fight for playoffs. But they are doing very well and we are 3rd in the table right now |
