See Silvam's Canadian league logos here, https://home.comcast.net/~silvam14/C...n%20League.htm
He's got one's for each of those cities, Hamilton bulldogs, London Monarchs, Oshawa Generals and Kitchener Panthers. You might even just check out some of truthserums fictional logos and just pick names. There's also these by Illeracula. The Knights logo is square, but maybe someone can alter it or has a round circle version.(Edit... duh or you could just use Truthserum's Charlotte Knights logo ) LOL, if you read this quick enough, I accidentally linked to the Spiderman 3 teaser... oops. Hmm.. well the London Monarchs was a real team in the CBL (defunct).
How about the Intercounty league, it's an amateur league though some former major leaguers have and do play in it. Check out their teams page here, http://www.icbaseball.com/teams.html Some cool logos there, might need someone to update them for the game though. |

Hi,
Well Hamilton is a traditional steeltown, so without necessarily using something that actually existed, you could use that theme. Something like the Hamilton Alloy, or the Welders, the Volcanoes etc... Kitchener, maybe to its chagrin, is often mentioned alongside its nieghbour, Waterloo. So maybe you can go with a Twin theme. Windsor is often associated either with car manufacturing or its proximity, yet cultural distance, to Detroit. Barrie does not ring much, though it is, somewhat, on the way to Cottage country. London and Kitchener are somewhat conservative, and Kingston especially emphasizes its colonial British heritage. |

lol! I think the soccer club was originally the team from a school called the Hamilton Academy, or possibly a team made up of former students at that school.

Hamilton had a NY-Penn team several years back called the Red Birds (a cardinals farm team)
London has had ball and hockey teams called the Tecumseths after the indian chief killed in the War of 1812, the one where we beat (tied??) the Americans. The name Barrie Flyers has a long history Windsor has had hockey teams called the Spitfires for years Toronto had a baseball team called the Maple Leafs years before they had a hockey team of the same name. |

Not a Canadian, but here are some suggestions based on the town histories.
HAMILTON HAMMERS HAMILTON HARD HATS HAMILTON STEELERS (repeat suggestion) Its nicknames — all relating to its waning days as a major industrial centre — include the Ambitious City, Steeltown, the Hammer, Hammertown, and the Lunchbucket City. However, health care has outstripped heavy industry — exemplified by the twin steel giants of Stelco and Dofasco — as the largest employer. Moreover, the education, government, services and technology sectors have all dramatically developed as heavy industry has declined. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-29-2006 at 07:08 PM. |

OSHAWA TRAILBLAZERS
Two visiting Indians were asked for their opinion of this name. They suggested the Indian name "Oshawa", the literal translation of which is "that point at the crossing of the stream where the canoe was exchanged for the trail". OSHAWA COACHMEN OSHAWA TRAVELERS OSHAWA HIGHWAYMEN In 1876, Robert McLaughlin, who had already established a carriage works business, relocated to Oshawa, drawn by its flourishing rail and harbour facilities. With the help of a $50,000 interest-free loan from the Town of Oshawa, the McLaughlin Carriage Company quickly developed into the largest carriage works in the British Empire. OSHAWA LAKERS OSHAWA SHIPPERS Important harbor is there on Lake Ontario...used heavily for lake shipping. Last edited by Eugene Church; 06-29-2006 at 06:12 PM. |

KITCHENER CROWNS
Established by the British, but heavily settled by the Germans. KITCHENER KAISERS For German heritage. It is a City firmly rooted in its German heritage but also keenly aware of the many streams of culture and country that blend together to produce the multicultural community it is today. KITCHENER GENERALS On June 9, 1912, Berlin officially became a City and was considered to be Canada's German Capital. However, with the outbreak of the First World War in 1914 came anti-German sentiment and an internal conflict ensued as the City was forced to confront its cultural distinctiveness. There was pressure for the City to change its name from Berlin, and in 1916 following much debate and controversy, the name of the City was changed to Kitchener, after the British General Horatio Herbert Kitchener who won fame during the Boer War. BARRIE BAYSOX
located on Kempenfelt Bay. BARRIE 400'S Barrie has a good highway. It is called the 400. Many people live in Barrie and drive to work in Toronto on the 400 highway. If the highway were not here, Barrie would be a small town. Barrie is growing. BARRIE ADMIRALS The City of Barrie was named after Sir Robert Barrie about 1832, at which time he was stationed in Kingston and in command of all the naval forces in Canada, having passed through Barrie on his journey for the annual inspection of the naval establishments at Penetanguishene. WINDSOR WHEELS
Windsor competes with Oshawa, Ontario for the title of automotive capital of Canada, with Windsor housing Daimler-Chrysler's Canadian Headquaters, and Oshawa housing General Motors' Canadian Headquarters. Its industries include the DaimlerChrysler mini-van assembly plant, several Ford Motor Company engine and casting plants and General Motors' transmission plant. WINDSOR SKYROCKETS Every summer Windsor co-hosts the two-week-long Windsor-Detroit International Freedom Festival, which culminates in a gigantic fireworks display that celebrates Canada Day and the American Independence Day. The fireworks display is among the world's largest and is held on the final Wednesday in June on the Detroit River between the two downtowns. Each year, the event attracts over a million spectators to both sides of the riverfront. WINDSOR TORNADOES Being on the northeastern edge of Tornado Alley, Windsor is prone to tornadoes, much like the US Midwest. It is also a part of a miniature "Tornado Alley", stretching northeast towards Peterborough, where most of Ontario's tornadoes form. |
