Congratulations to Orcin, Ravioli and Zorro for reaching playoffs. My team sucked and what used to be my strength last season (99-63) became my weakness this season

Congratulations my friend. You are the Division Champion. What a first game , No score through 8 and a pinch hit 2 homer in the 9th to lose 2-0. Just think, We might have to do this again.😱

It's another 93 Maddux (Monterey Bay) vs. 94 Maddux (Louisville) matchup in game 1 of my series. This decision haunts me, and my 94 Maddux could go a long way toward relieving my anxiety with a good outing.
I had been waiting for a 93 or 94 Maddux for over a week with points burning a hole in my pocket. I felt either would be fine, and when the 94 showed up I jumped on it. Now I wonder if that four points of movement and three points of control is really more important than six points extra stuff and better ratings on 5 of the 6 pitches. Come on, ol' 94... show me it's not. Note: If I am over-thinking this, please don't tell me. Sometimes people can be hurt by an abrupt jolt back to reality. |

LOL, well my Maddux gave up 6 earned runs in 6 innings, but the 93 Maddux gave up 9 runs in 6 innings and I won the game 13-8.

What do I have to do to get a win from this guy. First game I out hit him 13-8 and leave 13 on base to lose 4-1. Second game I out hit him 13-8 again and leave 10 men on base. I also lead 3-2 going into the 9th and he hits a homer tieing the game as I lose it in extra innings 4-3. Now we get to go home but I have no idea how to beat this guy.

My 94 Maddux pitched a great game in the finale against Monterey Bay (2-1 win). The Whales are a great team, and I wish them good luck next year!

I am saying nothing. I don't want to jinx my guys.
I continue to be very pleasantly surprised by my 97 Randy Johnson. I was actually considering dumping him before the season, but I decided to give it one more year and he went 16-5 with a 3.93 ERA and 3.70 FIP. He just beat a VERY good 49ers lineup, allowing only one run over 9 innings with a game score of 77. He will definitely be in the rotation next season. |
