Relocation

Hi all,

I just thought about providing an option to "Relocate" a team in the NHL.
It should just be possible on the start of a new season, like "Expansion".
You would just be able to select a team and after that choose a desired destination city. An additional feature could be to move teams from one Division or Conference to another one.

Example:
Relocate Arizona to Quebec.
Then move Quebec to the Eastern Conference and Detroit to the Western.

You can do that by just editing the team (in comisioner mode in sandbox) However you just edit the data that way, and have to figure out the new location's market size, arena, etc.... and you have to figure out attendance to the new market. No way to move them to a different division though.

I know that it is possible via the C. mode. But it makes no sense that Quebec would play in the Western Conference. So moving teams around within the limitations of the original number of teams in the Conferences would be a big help.

Aww, you can do what i do and expand each of your divisions to 9 teams, over the first 3 years of play (two each year).

My expanded teams

Quebec (atlantic)
Hartford (metro)
Atlanta (central)
Kansas city (central)
Vegas (pacific)
Seattle (pacific)

36 teams, running pretty good so far in my game, and for relocation, not the best ideally, but it works, just switch a team in the same division that the team you want to bring in...

Example : boston -- quebec, arizona -- kansas city
