Trading players from other than my team?

I am GM for the Yankees. I would like to be able to be Commissioner, which I hope would let me make trades for teams other than Yankees, say trading player from Oakland to Pittsburgh. Is that possible, to be a GM for one team but make trades as Commissioner for other teams?

Go into Commish mode.

Act as GM for one of the two teams you want to make the trade between.

Make the trade, use "force trade" option if necessary.

Remove yourself as Acting GM.

Leave Commish mode
