How to post Screen Captures

Hello, I'm not a newbie but this is a newbie question just because I've forgotten how to do it. How do I show a screen capture here? I found a bug but I can't show it because I can't remember how to paste a screen capture.

I have Paint.Net, it's free

I then hit print screen on the game, then CTRL V in Paint.Net and upload

I use the Windaows snipping tool, the copy and paste to Paint to save the file.

I'm a huge fan of Greenshot. It even has plugins that allow you to upload your screenshots directly to a number of image hosting sites (imgur, Photobucket, Flicker, etc).

The imgur plugin even copies the URL of the image to your clipboard (the others might as well), so all you have to do is click the "insert image" button and paste. Couldn't be simpler.

I tried that but it said "illegal file" and I found my file was too big. The file was 560K and I guess the limit is 512K. I tried Word and Paint and both were too big. It was just a regular screen shot. Not sure how to get it under the limit.
