They just don't understand. Although I've been left alone all weekend so far. I did tell the wife and kids that for their sacrifice I'll take them to the movies tomorrow, but I'm going to drag them to 42.

I've been playing since 5.

I've been playing ever since OOTP 5. I had been looking for a game like it for years but didn't hear about it until then.

12 was the first one. Didn't get into baseball until 2010 and first version I actually played was 8

Season Ticket Baseball!!

I think it was technically OOTP v4..... because I remember buying OOTP 5 but I do not remember buying v4..... or 3. So 4, final answer.

The annual "So, how long have YOU been playing OOTP?" thread

I found OOTP at version 5 but I started actually playing 6.5.

Season Ticket Baseball for me too. Stumbled across it by accident at some computer goods store that I had never shopped at before and have never shopped at since. It was meant to be, apparently.

I think I bought my first OOTP with the release of version 3... I'm not sure - this is my first one in a while however - really looking forward to getting back into online leagues again.

Not sure what version but it was the fall of '97 when I bought my first OOTP game. It stole all the play time away from FPS Baseball which was the king of internet baseball at the time. OOTP has been king ever since.

I do believe it was OOTP 2.

Not every version since, pretty much every other year.

I've been playing OOTP since 2003, 10 years now. Don't remember what version was out then. I've purchased every version since then.

I believe I have as well. It has been so long I really don't remember if it was version 1 or 2. I do remember I received a disk for the game! I am not sure if I could download it back then and the disk was a back up or if it was disk only. Remember the old ST where you put percentages on what to work on. You couldn't boost one area by too much without hurting another. The game has come a long long way.

The old FPS baseball that sucked many hours of my undergraduate life! I do miss the FPS football. It was easily exploitable if you drafted your own plays but it was a great game too. I wish I still had it. No other American football game has compared to it.

Oh gosh I remember that 'Spring Training'......

I have a TON of fond memories of the old versions of this game, but it is truly amazing what we had back then compared to what we have now.....

Light years of distance in between the two.

OOTP 2 loved seeing Duster Mails dominate for Cleveland and later George Zeber for the Yankees. Tiger Fans Posts in here really got me hooked.

OOTP2. I still have the CD somewhere. I've bought the game every year since.
