The annual "So, how long have YOU been playing OOTP?" thread
OOTP5 for me. I've bought every one since.

OOTP 4 (2002) and have imported that game into each new version playing out every inning of every game. Best game I have ever bought.

6.5 and have preordered every version until v14. Sadly I was and still am too poor to upgrade. Maybe next month.

I started with OOTP 4, about a month before my daughter was born. She's 10 now.
Version 4 was addictive, but, man, has this game gone places! |

Afraid to think how many hours spent in front of the computer with OOTP |

OOTP 3 for me. If I had an old pic of me playing OOTP, it would probably have my wife behind me ready to choke me!

Does that mean it's worth lots of money ?
I still have the CD for OOTP1. For kicks, I just tried installing it but I am unable to. No suprise - it's not compatible with Windows 7. Tried running the install in Windows 95 Compatibility mode, but get the error message: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contect the software publisher." Printed on the CD is an old URL: http://baseball1.com/ootp - which redirects to http://seanlahman.com/ootp Last edited by dim13; 04-13-2013 at 11:17 AM. |

Started with 6.5. It's amazing how far the game has come - and 6.5 was pretty sweet.

6.5 or 7, whatever was out in the fall of '07. Absolutely love this game.
