End of year crash
I haven't seen this searching the board, so I thought I'd try here.
I have my league file. When I want to proceed to next season, it crashes a second or two after clicking the button (runtime error), while on "proceeding to next year". I tried other league files, and they proceeded to the following year fine. What can be the cause of this?

I tried with files from earlier in the same season, simulating the rest of the season and trying to procees to the next season. it still crashed... but everything else works fine. What might be going on?

EDIT: I tried importing mid-season files, it wouldn't work. I tried installing the 6.11 patch (instead of 6.12), it wouldn't work. I tried a previous year... it worked. I really hope we don't have to scrap a whole year and re-play it

What has happened to me in the past has been a crash that was due to a schedule problem. For example, if you changed the schedule at any point last season (possibly even before your last season began), you may have a schedule "start date" of January or February. When the league tries to proceed to the next season, it attempts to then create a new schedule with the January start date. Unfortunately, FA and other activities have to take place during that time so it causes the game to crash.

Actually, it is the problem. The start-of-year date was Feb 1st (I can't remember why I changed it, but I remember doing it), and I'll check shortly.
