I wanted to create this guy more for his story than anything else. Read the bio I added . There is tons of stuff on the net , but more about his other career.

Sticking with non hw fighters with an unusual first name and last name of lee, Here is Ah Wing Lee, no relation to Canada though. I'd love to be able to find a picture of Ah Wing. (An interesting side note is that Ah Wing was a common name applied to fighters from the orient. There were several Ah Wing Lee's along the way but this was the most famous and the best of them.

Celebrity boxers
Crusade;
Here's a challenge. In the spirit of the Tony Danza and Mickey Cohen posts, how about one of actor Mickey Rourke. He's got a few professional bouts under his belt ... IceTea; Thanks for Tuur. He was on my list of Dutch fighters to rate.

I located his record an impressive undefeated but then you look at who he fought and some really shabby fighters. Worse than who Danza fought by far. He would be a -1 I'm thinking.

Tuur
I almost thought that I overrated him, but in his prime, he was a quality fighter. He did lose to Calvin Grove early in his carrer, hence the lower rating versus those with boxer styles. Plus, he was a little stiff legged with his front foot which allowed the "movers and shakers" to use movement with success. He had a much better than average punch though.

Looks about right to me, MJ, but haven't had time to do a lot of playtesting, yet. Will use him some this weekend.
I appreciate all your posts. Thanks.

Cool, I got Ricky Meyers right. I put him in against a slick Jessie James leghi (spelling) and he lost 10 of the 12 rounds but landed a few good shots. I have some others in the works.
Skipper Kelp Robert Wangila

Not familiar with Kelp, but Wangila's another on my list. Did you do either David Pearce or Stewart Lithgo? Thought I had seen those, but not finding them anywhere. Too early for me to be suffering from "senior moments" ... LOL!

I haven't heard of the two you mentioned. Why don't you rate Wangila and I'll do Kelp and throw in Todd Foster?
Kelp was born in Vietnam and was on Active Duty in the Air Force when he began his boxing carrer. I remeber him in the olypick trials in 88.

Robert Wangila
Had some time this morning, so went ahead and worked on Wangila. Rating seems a hair high to me, based on in-the-game opponents, but 100-fight results were good in playtesting against Waters and the Smiths.
Robert Wangila Born in Nairobi, Kenya. a/k/a Wangila Napunyi. 1988 Olympic welterweight gold medalist for Kenya. Fought professionally out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Weighed 145-153. 22-5-0, 16 KOs as a pro. (4 losses by TKO and the other by KO) Beat Martin Quiroz, Buck Smith, Jose Varela, Calvin Meeks, William Hernandez, Verdell Smith, Pedro Aguire and Anthony Martinez. Lost to William Hernandez, Eric Hernandez, Buck Smith, Troy Waters and David Gonzalez (tkoby9, died of injuries six days later). A come-at-you slugger who could also fight outside, but preferred not to. Fair defense, but chin was suspect.
