Withdraw Arbitration

What happens when I click the "withdraw" button on the arbitration screen? The player is not eligible for free agency.

If it is a player in the top of the screen he becomes a free agent.

Don't forget -- there's a lag between the day of salary arbitration hearings and declarations for free agency. So, if you're non tendering him to save cash to sign another player to an extension, it won't count right away.
