Coaches dont respond

Sometimes when I try to hire personnel, they tell me the prefer the offer and then never respond again. What should I do?

Edit: After offering the same contract again for the fourth time (about a month apart), he finally signed.

There is a known bug that will make coaches decline offers if you have multiple offers out. the workaround right now is to just offer contracts one coach at a time until that coach accepts and then offer the next one. Multiple pending offers screws the system up for some reason. This has been reported to be in the fix for patch #2.

This issue has been resolved and will be fixed in the forthcoming patch. Until then, you can still make several offers to coaches, but they will respond one at a time, instead of multiple responses in one day. Just remember to check your pending offer screen to re-open negotiations.
