OOTP8 crashes when resetting jersey textures

Hi.

I have done everything according to the manual and mod instructions.

When I import custom graphics into my OOTP8 (go into Game Setup/Reset Graphics), I am able to reset logos, ballcaps, jersey logos and cap textures. However, when i try to import jersey textures, OOTP works, gets to about 80 or 90% (not always the same), and then reports C++ runtime error and crashes out.

I am wondering if you can help me figure out what this is.

I have deleted custom jersey textures from my documents folder, one by one, trying to get to the culprit. However, even when I only have 7 default jerseys in there, it crashes. So, it is not the graphics. It is something witht he main program.

I suppose I can go and setup these jerseys by hand, but I want to find out why this is happening.

I have never had problems with any OOTP games in the past.

My setup is top of the line laptop running Windows XP (not Vista).

I guess I should say that I am using "Create Major League" when I start my game. So, something gets screwey when I combine that with jersey textures that I have. These are all the jersey textures downloaded from PadresFan, so nothing unusual.

Also, I got the same error when I tried to import a historical league.

I re-installed OOTP8.

The error repeats itself.
