Spring Training Field : 3D Views
Are we limited to the views available in the neutral, everybody-uses-it ballpark? Can the ST park be substituted with other parks? Can the view be adjusted in either of those prior to actually being in the game, playing it out in ST?

Well, let me backpedal and start this inquiry a different way. Where do I find the Spring Training park? Can I replace it with another park? Not sure why I've never asked this until now.

Looks like it uses the default_minor for spring training games... Try League Options, Edit ballparks, under select ballpark to edit, go to Pictures and coordinates, select No League, then select Spring Ballpark... From there you should be able to assign a different 3D model...
While there, I guess you go over to Actions and manually import data into this park for factors? Not to sure of that last sentence??? |

Thanks, tx. That Edit Ballpark is where I've been stranded. I don't find any parks there other than those for the teams in the league. When I go to 3D Model, I can select a different model for any given team, but I'll have to look again and see if default is one of the options there.
Actually, in retrospect, I may just move on to the team parks and let this one go. It has just been troubling me for some time. Then again, everything has. Thank you for always being willing to help, though. It's an enviable trait.

I think that may have done it, tx! In process, I may have successfully updated all of the league parks, without leaving this loose end. Thanks, again.

There are four spring ballparks listed the way TX stated to try to change them. Did you change all four ? also did it auto revert to the new stadium you changed to when you played a 3d spring game ?
Sorry for the questions, but I've wanted to change the spring parks also and want to make sure i follow the correct procedure. Thanks |

I didn’t see any beyond one called Spring Park. I changed that one.

Thanks for the reply. I checked again. I have 2 saves, one using the NCAA mod and that has (4) stadiums under the no league section called spring ballpark. The second save is from the MLB quick start in the game and that has (2) named spring ballpark. Not sure why that is. Thanks again for the reply ! |
