Slightly gimmicky balanced schedule

28 team balanced schedule. 3 games against each opponent for a total of 81 games.

Now here's the gimmick: the home/away split is based off the team's numeric identifier. Teams 1-14 get 39H/42A, while teams 15-28 get 42H/39A.

Starts on the first Friday on or after April 12.
Ends on the first Sunday on or after July 14.
No All-Star break.

All teams have an off-day each week on either Monday or Thursday.

No homestands or road trips shorter than 6 games or longer than 12 games, if possible.

162 game version

I would be interested in a 162 game version of this schedule.

I actually do have an 162-game version of this, but I'm looking to cut it down to 81.

See the attached schedule and see how you like it. I'll break down what I could do with your requests:

28 team balanced schedule. 3 games against each opponent for a total of 81 games. Done

Now here's the gimmick: the home/away split is based off the team's numeric identifier. Teams 1-14 get 39H/42A, while teams 15-28 get 42H/39A. Done

Starts on the first Friday on or after April 12. Done
Ends on the first Sunday on or after July 14. Done
No All-Star break. Done

All teams have an off-day each week on either Monday or Thursday. Done. All off-days are Thursdays each week

No homestands or road trips shorter than 6 games or longer than 12 games, if possible. None are longer than 12. There are probably a bit too many for liking, but I don't think any team has more than one of each. As for the 6-game rule, I couldn't avoid that and that might be hard to do.

Let me know how you like it. If you want me to tweak it, just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Would you mind sharing the 162 game schedule that you have?
