Draft Question

I have an 80 team association (4 leagues of 20 teams). Each team has one minor league team. How many rounds should I have in my draft? Is it possible to have the leagues draft in a certain order so that the top league always gets the best players and the other leagues draft leftovers?

For the first part, I'd go with 7-10 rounds and generate players for 15 rounds. Assuming 25-man rosters, you're talking about roughly the same number of players as the NFL, which has a 7-round draft and 53-man rosters. Should work fine, I think.

As to the second, I don't think that's possible, but I've never tried.

can't you set the better league to draft first that way the 2nd would get the left overs

If you're having a common draft, I don't think you can split it up like that.

Thank you for the feedback. Maybe I should not have a draft. The teams in what would amount to the premiere league should have more money and thus would likely sign the better players.

No? i was hoping to do that with a league i was going to set up later with a full NCAA feeder league but have the MLB draft first then the lesser league.
Somehow where the one league is better and gets the better players because of it but with feeder leagues
