What Record did '94 Mike Jackson Break?
I was a Giants fan at the team. Jackson was a great set up guy, but I sure can't find any info on him breaking a record in 1994.
My guess would be that maybe he was, at the time, the career leader in holds? I'd really love to see the actual record listed on the record breaker cards... |

I looked at this before because I have the card, too, although he didn't do very well for me even in Gold League... the best thing I could come up was his 4.64 K/BB that season, although there is no indication on baseball-reference.com that that mark even led the league...

I would guess, based on the pop charts, that Mike Jackson broke the record "The Sign" by Ace of Base.

Gee, thanks, I fought about 15 years to get that out of my head. Now it's swooped back in...

Wow, I can't even remember that now
It was something pretty obscure, probably connected to K rate or BB rate or something similar. EDIT: On further review, guessing it was connected to his K9 ratio somehow.
