Harry Cary - Take Me Out to the Ball Game

I have uploaded a new mod to ootpmods.com that is Harry Cary singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game"

Just unzip it into your sounds folder, which is usually located at ....\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 16\sounds

It will not overwrite any of the game's original files.

After installation, you will have a 1 in 5 chance to hear Harry during the 7th inning stretch.

Does this mean it's possible to add sounds? Since there are originally four stretch files did you name the file stretch5.wav? I have replaced files in the past especially for my league that started in 1875. I don't think PA announcer played hard rock at that time or that there was a PA system.

Yes...stretch5.wav

I, too, always replace the 3 intro.wav files.

You can add or delete files at will, as long as you leave at least one of each type in the folder. OOTP will choose among them at random.

I will look into putting this on the add-ons central when I have some time this evening. I have to make sure I get the file structure right

I kind of wish sounds had a thing where you could choose whether or not to use them, or if they would even be used or not. Like how you can do with facegen beards now. I wonder if that would even be possible? It would be easier than having to take out the PA and hard rock for my 1901 league, then put it back in for my modern leagues.

Absolutely priceless. When I was...younger, I remember Harry belting it out on WGN. I'd usually have a game on before work. Awesome touch.

it's now on add-ons central, it downloads and installs, but I have not had a chance to test it.

I don't have replacement intro files. I just delete the three and then make a copy of ambient1.wav and rename that copy to intro1.wav.

I tried to replace intro1.wav with This Week In Baseball Theme...but it would come in during the middle of a game and would not shut off. The TWIB theme works perfectly with Koch Baseball Game it is a excellent way to start a game. Thanks for your input.
