Ethnicity

I'm trying to figure out if this property matters at all. When I export rosters to edit them I don't see an ethnicity field in the CSV text file. When I import them again they don't overwrite changes I'm made to player pics, so I'm wondering where the ethnicity value is, if it is stored at all with the player?

I was hoping that I would be able to view the ethnicity value, either in the GUI or in the file, I want to give the player a default pic based on their ethnicity. I don't mind assigning it manually, but I need to see it after it is generated - if it is used at all.

I don't know the answer to your question, since I've never exported rosters to a CSV file, but it's possible that the "ethnicity" field is called "facial type." That's the way it's listed in the in-game player editor screen, which can be accessed if you're in commissioner mode.

I'm pretty sure 'facial type' just refers to which of the handful of FaceGen sets it uses to create players, the <ETHNICITIES> values I think determine which name set will be used when creating random names. It appears that once the name is generated it no longer stores that value with the player.

Everything that is stored with the player is not exported with the rosters.
