promotion - winning percentage?

What is the rule for promotion to next level.
Winning percentage of the regular season only?
I don't think so.
I think it takes into account the playoffs.
How are ties managed?

Only the playoffs count, and there are no ties in the playoffs.

Sorry but the message in OOTP says promotion is based on
WS winner
and
overall winning percentage

The message is wrong. The last four participants in the playoffs get promoted. This has been discussed a lot here.

That is not what it says on this page, and it is not how it has worked since PT first came out (except for the first seasons, when the top levels need filling and non-playoff teams are promoted, too).

The winning percentage second refers to the times when more than 10 teams get promoted, usually only in the first couple of weeks of the game.

Or if there happened to be 6 teams promoted, then it would be the LCS participants making it first, and then the best 2 regular season records of the DS losers.

As far as I can tell in Bronze to Silver only 2 teams get promoted.
the WS winner and the highest winning percentage (which is usually another playoff team)
I have played 18 weeks and I have never seen all the playoff teams promoted (i know I am a playoff team)
I have been promoted when i won WS each time and once i got knocked out in the first playoff round but i had the highest winning percentage of all teams in the league

Wrong. In the case where 2 teams are promoted, the WS winner and the WS loser are the teams that move up.

Hey, didn't you say that was the last you would say on the topic (in another thread), or was it another topic.

Yep, I did say that... but sometimes the temptation is too great when others are still talking about it

there's no problem with repeatedly saying things that need to be said

I lost WS I did not get moved up.
Of course I can't prove it because the only stats are
Playoff Appearance and WS winner

I am playing 19. Maybe 20 is different

I never played 19 but last week in PT20 I had 4 teams make the playoffs. Two of them lost in the sub-league series (that's the point where there are 4 teams left in the playoffs). One lost in the World Series, and one won the World Series.

All 4 of the teams were promoted.

When I've been promoted out of silver and gold, it's always been the four semi finalists.

The only time I've seen promotion based on winning percentage was when six teams were promoted (iron and maybe bronze level).
