Perfect Points purchasing issue

At the moment from within Perfect Team, when I click Buy Now for 25,000 points or less, the correct Steam Transaction "Add Funds" window pops up. But if I try to buy 75,000 or 175,000 points nothing happens. Very frustrating. Is this a known issue currently? Any ideas?

Restarted the game. Now I can't even purchase 1000 points. Buy Now buttons look active, but nothing happens.

OK, so after an hour of trying to get this to work, I discovered the problem is with Steam. They suddenly decided that credit cards I have been using with no issue needed verification "for my protection." Nice how I need to be protected from using my own money. And mind you, I used them on Steam a few times in the last couple with no problem whatsoever, yet suddenly they're suspicious? Probably some stupid algorithm with a bug they don't care to fix.

I hope a crypto/blockchain company comes along and wipes Steam off the face of the map, so that I can be in control of protecting my own money myself.

Meanwhile, in YOUR software, OOTP needs to not have buttons that appear to be operating, yet don't work, without being at the least grayed out to show ahead of time that they won't work, or at best that, plus an error message that indicates a Steam payment issue. As you can imagine wasting the time to track this down was not fun.

Meanwhile, there goes my chance for the really good Auction House deal I found.

FYI, while I blame Steam and not OOTP for this issue, please make it a high priority to communicate with users when an attempt to buy PP fails due to a Steam payment issue.

There's nothing more frustrating and angering than not knowing why a business won't take your money. Makes you doubt whether you should be giving it to them.

Great game, have loved OOTP for years, but have avoided playing all computer games to make the rest of my life productive. Perfect Team makes OOTP irresistible again.

Appreciate the feedback, but to be honest sometimes it's really hard to know how to reply to these issues. If something's not working on Steam or on eSellerate's end for example, often times we're just as mystified by it as you are to be honest

Looks to me like you need to have some sort of error checking built in.
Surely if a "Buy Now" attempt doesn't work and the balance of points doesn't go up, SOME sort of message like "Purchase not authorized, check that your payment information is up to date on Steam" or wherever...

By pushing the button repeatedly when it seemed to not be working, apparently I was sending multiple requests to Steam for purchases.... and the multiple requests triggered their algorithm to go from "maybe we should temporarily block this" to "let's block this permanently until we know what's going on and make the user jump through some hoops."
