schedule question

OK, so I edited the Cub league down to 20 teams and it now has four divisions.

I just tried to generate a schedule and get an error saying the schedule either needs to be balanced or I need to turn interleague play off.

I don't want to use a balanced schedule. I don't see anything to disable interleague play (I think that's becuase this really only is one league)

In game setup > League setup there is something that says schedule loaded from file and it points to the original schedule that was loaded with teh league.

How do I get the game not to look for that schedule? There doesn't seem to be a way to just delete the path or a check box to tell the game not to look for the schedule there.

Did you delete the current schedule first before trying to create a new one?

Delete the current schedule first, or you won't be able to generate a new one.

Thank you. I will delete the schedule that the game came up with.

I found something itneresting. If I generate a schedule from the league alignment screen it will generate the schedule but it generates a balanced schedule and home and road series are pretty much alternated.

If I use the schedule editor to create the schedule then the error comes up.

I will do as you suggest and see what happens.

Sorry for the exsessive posts but do you mean clear the schedule in the game or delete the master file that was used with that universe?

In game when you go to league setup, edit schedule there is an option to delete the current one.

Still geneates alternating home and away series even after using the delete schedule option.

Still only geneates from edit league structure. Still gives the same errors and still only comes up with alternating home and away series.

I may have to do my own schedule which will be interesting.

You might try looking in the Mods forum at the schedules thread. It links to literally hundreds of schedules.
