Can we make a custom league like....

Can we create a league like this, for example.

1973 A's, 1975 Reds,1977 Dodgers, 1983 Padres, 1978 Yankees.

I haven't played with the custom league creator enough, but was having trouble figuring this out.

If by chance it's not in OOTP 2019, can you please update so we can do this please.

Thank you

Terry J.

Yes, you can. Off-hand, I don't remember HOW, but it is possible to import historical teams into a league.

I had just created a league file like this recently, but I plan to edit all of the players with the Davenport Translations so that teams from different eras can properly play against each other. The file has each team represented by one of their best seasons. Teams that moved are represented multiple times so there is a Brooklyn Dodgers team and a Los Angeles Dodgers team. There are 36 teams in the league.

Diamondbacks 2001
Atlanta Braves 1995
Milwaukee Braves 1957
Orioles 1970
Red Sox 2004
Cubs 2016
White Sox 2005
Reds 1975
Indians 1948
Rockies 2007
Tigers 1935
Astros 2017
Royals 1985
Angels 2002
Los Angeles Dodgers 1963
Brooklyn Dodgers 1955
Marlins 1997
Brewers 1982
Twins 1991
Washington Senators 1925
Mets 1986
Yankees 1927
Oakland Athletics 1989
Philadelphia Athletics 1929
Phillies 1980
Pirates 1979
Padres 1998
San Francisco Giants 2010
New York Giants 1954
Mariners 2001
Cardinals 1967
Rays 2008
Rangers 2011
Blue Jays 1992
Expos 1994
Nationals 2012

Here is how: create a fictional league. Once you pick the league format: divisions, number of teams etc. You will see an option for switching tohistorical team mode. Do that and put in the teams you want.

Once that is complete would you know off hand whether you can then turn the future drafts into a random debut?

Yes. Under Rules, for the draft, click the option for rookies from all erasing and set the earliest and latest years you want them to come from.
