Starting lineup bug?
For some reason, MLB Manager 15 on iOS isn't porting my preset lineups into games. I talked to the OOTP twitter admin about it, and they recommended I post the details here.
I changed the default lineups, making a custom lineup to play against both LHPs and RHPs. (Incidentally, it's the same lineup for both.) Here's a screenshot from my iPad showing what it looks like against RHPs: However, when I go to play a game during the season, it's not importing those preset lineups. Here's the lineup it's giving me on the "Set Your Starting Lineup" page against RHP Mike Fiers of Milwaukee in game five of the season: I'm a newbie, so I figured I was doing something wrong, maybe missing a step you need to do to import those preset lineups into games. But the OOTP twitter admin is telling me that what I've done should work. So any ideas on what's causing this? And is anyone else having the same problem? |

Is Polanco tired? If so, the AI is substituting Lambo for him per your depth chart.
Just a thought... |

Hmm, Polanco is not tired, but I think it does have something to do with that depth chart page. (I hadn't even looked at that page until reading your reply here, Orcin.)
I screwed around with it a bit, just setting the depth chart more to my liking, and when I went to play my next game (vs. RHP Matt Garza) it DID give me my preset lineup on the "Set Your Starting Lineup" page. Interesting. So maybe this isn't a glitch but rather me just not understanding how the preferred lineups and depth charts work with each other? Last edited by rbtaylor; 03-26-2015 at 08:36 PM. |

If the game substitutes a tired player it can on occasion shuffle the lineup around, this is intended so that i.e. if your #3 hitter is tired the (likely weak offensive) substitution does not bat 3rd.
