This has been going on for months now. There was a thread last month about this happening but for short periods of time.

Yes, I have been having this problem for several weeks or so... this is the message that would pop up when I tried to log on OOTP Forums.

Strangely, I could log on to the OOTP Graphics Forum, but no others.

But I could access the OOTP Forums once I logged on in the Graphics Forums.

Looks like all is well.

Things seeme to be much better for now. I can attach files and images are loading.

For reference I am in central NJ just outside Trenton.

If the files download slowly for some users and not for others, there must be a problem with one of their server locations. Very likely a network/internet problem. All of their customers would see this problem and their monitoring tools would report it as well. Hence, usually it's fixed after some hours.

I checked their status page and everthing seems to be fine now. Do you still see problems? Please hit the refresh key (F5 and also Ctrl+F5) in your browser.

Andreas: thank you for the update. Yes, all appears to be better now. As you noted, the issue was likely within cdn77.org space, or in a connection between you and them. As there were some connections working, I am guessing that there was a server arrangement on their end - some sort of load balancing or local director - which failed temporarily, such that some requests through your space were routed to a down host or hosts on their end. *shrug* These things happen. It's how people like me find employment.

I use Opera...I haven't used Chrome in years. Well...actually the only thing I use it for is my DirectTV Now, which is the only browser allowed for that. Opera never gives me trouble.
